About Us
We are a well established and respected family run business, based in Whitstable, Kent, specialising in local and national removals with over 25 years experience.
We understand that moving house can be a daunting and very stressful experience. We have the expertise to help minimize the stress to ensure you have a smooth and professional move.
We handle both local and national removals to any part of the UK including the offshore islands. We also provide a fully containerised storage service for short or long term storage.
Our vehicles are modern, clean and fully equipped to cover every type of move, whether a single item of furniture or a full house removal.
OUR SERVICES
We apply our flexible attitude and experience to all removals to ensure complete customer satisfaction. . All furniture is protected with transit blankets, carpets are protected from the elements of the weather with carpet protectors. Hanging garment carriers are available on all vehicles, along with specialist moving equipment such as piano trucks and trolleys. Some vehicles have walk up ramps, some have tail lifts for those heavy items. Whatever your moving, we have the equipment and know how to ensure your goods arrive safely. Furniture will be placed in the desired rooms along with the appropriate marked boxes. Dismantling of furniture can also be arranged, we are more than happy to discuss your exact requirements. Above all, our priority is to make your move work for you.
Professional packing
With years of private and corporate experience, we are more than capable of packing your goods should you so wish. A full packing service is available, or maybe part packing for just the breakables. Using the latest materials available, all goods will be packed to a high standard.. Tea chest sized cartons are available for general items, we also have book cartons, linen cartons, wardrobe cartons, picture cartons, even bicycle cartons. All goods packed by us will be marked with the room and contents to ensure they end up in the correct room at your new home.
Owner packing
Many clients prefer to pack their own cartons, Boxes and tape are supplied FREE OF CHARGE to all customers using our removal services. Bubble wrap, packing paper and tissue paper can be supplied for a small additional charge
Insurance
All goods entrusted with us, are automatically covered by our removers block insurance. This means you are covered to a maximum value of £20,000.00. You are also advised to arrange an extension on your home contents insurance, for extra protection. For peace of mind, we are also insured for public and employers liability, should the need arise. All insurance policies are subject to the companies terms and conditions of business, copies of which are available on request.
Storage
All goods are stored in 250 cubic feet wooden furniture containers. Our facilities are modern and dry with an adequate alarm system and CCTV for added security. Whether there is a break in the chain, or a simple de-clutter of your home, we are here to help. Storage charges are on a daily basis, so you only ever pay for the number of days in storage. We DO NOT charge per week or part thereof. Again, goods are automatically insured when in our care, subject to your valuation.
